Eric Stead (Garages) LTD was founded by the late Eric Stead in Hillsborough in 1967.
From that day to this, we have built up a reputation for extraordinary customer care and service, which has formed the foundation of the business.
We stock new MG vehicles as well as many other makes and models and we pride ourselves on delivering an after sales service that is second to none.

OUR MG ROVER LINKS
At Eric Stead, we have maintained all of our factory trained technicians along with our special tooling and diagnostic equipment. This has led to us being recognised as the leading MG Rover specialist in the area.
Our parts department stocks and delivers MG Rover parts to surrounding local garages. We have no reason to believe that we will not be able to continue to supply quality MG Rover parts as we have been doing since the demise of MG Rover
STEAD-E BEAR
When everyone was given a 'free gift' as a thank you for purchasing a new car, Eric Stead wanted something that was a little more personal.
Then in 1999, our first 'Stead E Bear' was born. Every customer who bought a new car was given a Stead E Bear to take home with them. However , we soon found that many of our loyal customers had a growing number of Stead E Bears!
So now all existing owners of a Stead E Bear receive a Stead E Bear Girlfriend to accompany the original bear.
