The MG4 Premium Long Range :

Performance & Battery
Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a 140 kW (188 hp) electric motor.
Battery: Uses a 64 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery. LFP chemistry is more durable for regular 100% charging than traditional NMC packs.
Range: Official WLTP range is 280 miles. Real-world estimates typically fall between 220–240 miles depending on driving conditions.
Acceleration: 0–62 mph in 7.5 seconds.

Charging Capabilities
Rapid Charging (DC): Supports up to 154 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 25 minutes.
Home Charging (AC): Max rate of 7 kW, taking roughly 10–11 hours for a full charge from empty.
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): Now standard, allowing the car to power external electrical devices.

Interior & Technology Upgrades
The 2026 facelift focused heavily on improving the cabin quality and user interface:
Screens: A new 12.8-inch HD central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
Physical Controls: Introduction of physical buttons for climate control and volume, addressing a major criticism of the original model.
Connectivity: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, alongside a wireless phone charger.
Materials: More soft-touch faux leather on the dashboard and upgraded, more supportive seats.
